MemoriesCoverebookMy first published short story, Memories follows a woman as she peruses the aisles of her life’s memories after death, recalling the lost, forgotten and cherished moments of her life. She is allowed to take one item with her when she passes on, and the path to that choice is one of love, happiness and heartbreak. The meanings of the words we use for loved ones are explored, as well as the value of the memories we hold dear.

I wrote this story as a commentary on same-sex marriage, and what it might mean to those who are fighting for the right to say their partner is a ‘wife’ or ‘husband’. However, I believe that the story can speak to almost anyone. Available on Kindle.

wacoverโ€œWritersโ€™ Anarchyโ€ is a fusion of eclectic, amazing short stories by an international group of creative new talent. Multi-genre, with no limitations or gimmicks, these stories are a collective effort by one of the groups I participate in to make an anthology. โ€œWritersโ€™ Anarchyโ€ offers stimulating, thought-provoking worlds to explore. Let your imagination take flight along with the unique characters, strange events and shocking endings shared inside these covers! There are some true gems within, and I expect to see many of the authors within become better known as time goes on. Available in paperback and eBook.

My own short story, The Bell Tower, is a look at Freud’s Uncanny. Follow Decebal, a clocksmith, as his perception of truth is subverted by the constant beat of pendulums around him on a dismal autumn day.

WAIII_ebook_coverWe all wear masks, but what makes a hero? What makes a villain? Can good and evil really be separated so easily?

Travel from the distant past of epic poems to the high-tech futures of tomorrow as our contributors consider these questions, as well as external influences that mold and shape us into the heroes, or villains, that we become.

“D.N.A.” is my contribution about a woman with the ability to transform her genetic structure at will) for those seeking all things super.

Highly recommended in the paperback edition.

Darkly Never After ebook coverDarkness. The absence of light, hope, and direction. It is a word that is as pervasive in our language as its consequence is on society. A shot in the dark. To be in the dark. The darkest hour is before dawn. Darkness is the foil for all we consider good in the worldโ€“โ€“the natural enemy of good, and the virtues of the human spirit. Peter Benenson once said that it was better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Darkly Never After, a diverse collection of dark fairy tales and fiction, chooses to light the world with its very mission statement. All proceeds from this international volume will benefit children in need. From classical re-imaginings of old classics, to brand new tales of adventure and deceit, Darkly Never After has fairy tales for the sophisticated and worldly mind. Visit the fantastical worlds your childhood books introduced you to, with a touch of maturity for the older reader. Light a path in the darkness. Become the candle for the lost.
